Musical earrings! I used to play piano as a teenager so idea of crocheted piano earrings came naturally to me. These piano earrings were made with cotton thread. They represent piano keys, or an octave. Black keys are crocheted separately and sewn on white background. There are a lot of pictures explaining the whole process of making these earrings.
Skill level - Beginner, Intermediate
Materials:
-Steel hook 1.25mm (Bates 9)
-About 10g. (0.35 oz) lace cotton thread (A and B color) size 20
-Tapestry needle
-2 Chain-nose pliers
-4 jump rings
-2 ear wires
You will need to know how to:
1. Crochet
2. Basic jewelry making (opening up jump rings with pliers)
Stitches used:
ch - chain stitch
sc - single crochet
rsc - reverse single crochet
